Our Story

When I think back to my very first wedding, I smile and remember how nervous I was.  Trying not to make a mistake on the most important day of their life was a tall order.  Each note was carefully played while the volume levels were adjusted perfectly and the timing was impeccable.  This meant that I was blessed to see a family member smile, the flower girl stop in the middle of the aisle, the photographer get the shot and the groom tear up.  It is a humbling experience to be the pulse and the melody of someone’s big day and over the last 30 years I’ve been honored to create the music for hundreds of couples.  Since retiring from public school music education, I look forward to expanding this passion to the entire wedding experience and to broadening the scope to include all celebrations and events with music as the backbone.  

I have joined together with several musicians to create a new type of musical experience with the DJ industry.  This includes what you would expect as the industry standard but we include musicians at the helm.  For example, if you are having a karaoke night, we can start off the evening with our in-house singers to get the event kicking.  We can even sing with a shy person or harmonize with a pro.  Imagine your wedding with a mix of exactly the music you want with the ability to choose traditional, added vocals, DJ, live and instrumental pieces all from one service.  No need to settle or search for what you’re looking for, we will do all the work for you and streamline your tunes for the whole event.  This same thing goes for your party or corporate event, you just dream up your ideal musical vision for your event and we will take your event to the next level adjusting the tempo as needed.

As I excitedly searched for a name that encompassed this new idea of a DJ service composed of all musicians, I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for.  After much debate, I knew the answer was clear, it must be about the beautiful musicians, that of course is how we are unique.  You see, my best friend Eric had a voice studio years ago that did this same thing.  He took the ordinary and sometimes lost voice and turned it into something extraordinary, something memorable.  After losing Eric in 2024, we have now decided to borrow his studio name ‘Bella Voce Studio’ and adapt it to ‘Bella Voce Entertainment’ to continue his legacy of musical excellence in everything we do, every event we create, every heart we will fill with music.  To clarify, ‘Bella Voce’ in Italian means ‘Beautiful Voices’ and I can’t think of a better way to describe what this business brings to the table.  May he live on as we surround people on our journey with beautiful music, beautiful memories and beautiful voices.
